AEOLIS. Cyme. Pseudo-autonomous issue during the reign of Commodus. A.D. 177-192. AE (7.69g/ 23mm). Draped bust of Syncletus (Senate) right; IEPA CVN-KΛHTOΩC around / Tyche standing left, turreted, holding rudder and cornucopia. RPC IV online 2607 (temporary). SNG Cop 124-125. Near Very Fine; parts weak, otherwise well struck on an even flan (typical for issue). Smooth green-brown patina highlighted by pale green; attractive piece.
