Sasanian Empire. Shapur I the great (240-270). AR Drachm (3.03g/ 24mm). Diademed and draped bust of Shapur I to right/ Zoroastrian fire altar flanked by two regal attendants wearing mural crowns and holding scepters; to left and right, crescent above the left attendant. Göbl type I/1. Very fine.
