Sasanian Empire. Shapur I (240-270). AR Drachm. (3.91g/ 27mm). Bearded bust right wearing crown with earflaps, surmounted by globe decorated with concentric arcs, legend inside beaded border/ Zoroastrian fire altar, attendant facing outward, each attendant with staff in one hand, between each attendant and rim. Very fine.
