Obverse: Draped bust of Khosrau II to right, wearing elaborate mural crown; behind head, AFZUT GDH (‘may his kingship increase’ in Pahlawi); before head, Khalid b. ‘Abd Allah( in Pahlawi); in outer margin, Basmala (5 o’clock), Muhammad rasul Allah (7 o’clock ) (All in Arabic inscriptions).
 

Reverse: Fire altar with ribbons flanked by attendants; star and crescent flanking flames; all within triple border with star-in-crescents in margin.
