Thrace. Abdera (Circa 395-360 BC). Struck under the magistrate Molpagores. AR Tetrobol. (2.81g/ 13mm). Griffin springing left with both forelegs raised/ Head of young Dionysos to right, wreathed with ivy and with berries clustered tight above the brown; ΜOΛ-ΠΑ-ΓΟ-ΡΗΣ around linear frame. May, Abdera 409 (A284/P332). Very fine.
