Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR Tetradrachm (17.24g/ 27mm). Myriadros. Struck under Antipater, circa 325-323/2 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin/ Zeus seated facing left on throne holding eagle in extended right hand and sceptre in left. Iin field a monogram. Sear vol.2 p.623 no.6724, very similar to Museum Victoria Collection: https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/items/77873. Extremely fine, toned.
