Lot 400: Roman. Bronze Bust of a Gladiator
A finely cast bronze bust depicting a Roman gladiator wearing a crested helmet, the facial features rendered in relief beneath a pronounced visor. The reverse is plain, with a curved lower projection suggesting use as a decorative fitting or handle terminal. Attractive dark green patina with minor surface wear. 24.81 g, 40 mm.
