Lot 396: Roman. Bronze Horse Statuette
A cast bronze statuette of a horse standing upon an integral rectangular plinth, depicted with one foreleg raised, a neatly modelled mane and tail, and openwork between the legs. The figure displays an attractive dark green patina with light earthen deposits and minor casting flaws consistent with age. 40.58 g, 41 mm.
