AV heavy Dinar (22.30g/ 35mm), Baldat Ghazna, AH 601, Album 1759, posthumous issue, the standard type citing only Mu’izz al-Din Muhammad bin Sam struck AH599-605; a magnificent example, with almost no weakness and all inscriptions totally legible. About Uncirculated. Extremely rare, and in far better condition than any other example known. Although Taj al-Din Yildiz was the actual ruler after the death of Mu’izz al-Din in AH602, he did not add his own name to the coinage until late in AH605. Ex collection of a UK based collector formed in early 2000s.
