Roman Republic. Mn. Cordius Rufus (46 BC) AR Denarius (4.12g/ 16mm), Rome. RVFVS III VIR, jugate heads of the Dioscuri right, wearing pilei topped with stars. Rev. MN CORDIVS, Venus Verticordia standing left, holding scales and sceptre, cupid on her shoulder. (Crawford 463/1a; Sydenham 976). Extremely Fine, rainbow patina. Ex Mark Salton collection.
