Roman Mold-Blown Glass Date Flask, 1st–2nd Century AD

A charming Roman mold-blown glass flask in pale green, dating to the 1st–2nd century AD. This petite vessel features a subtly ribbed, date-shaped body with a short neck and inward-folded rim, characteristic of utilitarian Roman glassware. Such flasks were often used to store perfumes, oils, or cosmetics. The surface displays attractive weathering and silvery iridescence from burial, typical of ancient glass. Height: 4.5 cm.
