Pair of Ancient Bronze Decorative Mounts

A pair of bronze decorative mounts, both rectangular with upturned ends forming finials. Each mount is richly engraved with linear and geometric motifs: one decorated with circular scroll designs above a rectangular panel filled with vegetal scrollwork; the other bearing incised linear and abstract patterns. The mounts may have served as decorative fittings, possibly from a piece of furniture, a harness, or ceremonial equipment. Both show attractive patina with earthen deposits.
